programs in the state of Ohio to request items from the Resource Center free of
cost. Many of the items may be downloaded electronically via the
websites listed. If you have trouble downloading an item, you may request a hardcopy from the Northeast ABLE Resource Center.

1) "Beginnings VIII"
A Publication of Adult Student Writing of the Ohio Writer's Conference, the
Ohio Literacy Resource Center
This collection of writings, gathered from over 470 entries submitted by Ohio
ABLE students, demonstrates the power of individuals who have learned to craft
their stories in words. Poems and stories of youth, family, fiction and
more provide dramatic examples of how people can deal with their experiences
(good and bad) through words.

2) "Beginnings IX"
A Publication
of Adult Student Writing of the Ohio Writers' Conference, Ohio Literacy
Resource Center
"Beginnings IX" is an annual publication sponsored by the
Ohio Literacy Resource Center of original works written by Ohio ABLE
students. This year over 430 entries were submitted showcasing the
talents of these new authors. Themes included in this collection
include: Tapestry of Culture, Woven Memories, Mending and Alteration,
Threads of Family Life and more!
